VIEW ON BLACK One of my favorite places to go explore is Yosemite National Park. This is a very well known view and I can only hope to do a fraction of justice compared to the imagery that has been taken at this spot. This image was taken right before complete darkness in Yosemite , taken right after nightfall. You can see some on the horizon, caused by light pollution, airglow and the last bit of glow from nightfall. For technical details this is a mix of two exposures, both taken at the same time and place, one for the Milky Way and the other for the landscape. This was strictly to get enough light in the landscape. I also took some creative liberties adding some contrast, saturation, color correction, noise reduction and a bit of glow to only the horizon.
