Filmmaker and noted social media phenomenon Casey Neistat's new app, Beme, is off to a hot start. The thing in such high demand, tweeting the words "Beme unlock code" will likely introduce you to crowds of wannabe users, all asking to join the party.

If you can't wait to see what Beme looks like, or are already using it and trying to figure out what to do, you've come to the right place. We here at BuzzFeed News got our hands on Beme and, after a few hours of playing with it, are ready to give you a look inside. Here's how it works:

The home screen is just a list of Beme usernames. Each time a username appears, it means that person has posted a video to Beme. To view that person's video, you hold down on the username until it starts playing.
