Frozen Time. by thibaultroland

To me, Newfoundland (Canada) is one of these places that you instantaneously fall in love with because it has it all: amazing seascapes, gorgeous landscapes, eerie fjords and very moody weather (to say the least). On top of that, the people here are very nice and welcoming if you feel like the social type, but far away from each other to still have the freedom of being left alone if you'd rather I shot this photograph near Gros Morne National Park, and I got to enjoy the beauty of the location as well as its serenity and quietness. I'm sure the closest human being was miles and miles away... To see this picture in a better quality and order prints: http://bit.ly/PB6KUB http://bit.ly/1o29V3e

Beneath the Ice by CNaene

Abraham lake and methane bubbles trapped underneath. We were very lucky that the sky was so spectacular and there was no wind at all. The shooting condition was perfect. http://500px.com/photo/59700872
