Neil From Time Warner Cable Customer Service Thinks The Merger Is Dead

With reports that the Comcast merger is dead, we went straight to the source for comment: customer service. We’re still waiting on a straight answer, and might have to be put through to a different department.

Comcast is planning to drop its merger plans with Time Warner, according to a report from Bloomberg News.

Neither company has publicly confirmed or denied the report. So BuzzFeed News decided to go directly to the people who hold the true power in both corporations: the online customer service chat team.

Neil, a Time Warner customer service chat representative, agreed with Bloomberg that the merger plans have been dropped. However, in a twist, Comcast's customer service disagrees. The plot thickens....
